Housing Innovation Week will be hosted across Canada through a series of distributed working groups. Each working group is hosted by a Hosting Partner (Hosting Realinnovator) and engage 8-12 participants (Realinnovators), as determined by the Hosting Partner. Working group meetings will be well prepared in advance and run for 2 hours, with the Hosting Partner organizing the programming, venue, invitations, facilitation, and coordination. Working groups are designed to align with HIWs four key focus areas and are delivered in one of the following formats:
- Problem Definition
- Ideation | Pilot
- Pilot | Scaleup
To enable collaboration beyond individual sessions, working groups are supported by Athena, the industry’s Al, which leverages knowledge and connects ideas and people across working groups, to accelerate collective progress.
HIW supports Hosting Partners through the Innovation Partnership benefits, including a comprehensive workshop playbook, technology support, Athena Al, and full event administration.
